This year’s Bob Wick Community Service award winner is Arakyta.

The Bob Wick Community Service Award was established in 1998….

The Jewish Federation and its affiliated agencies have been partners with Arakyta and its owner Dennis Schroder for 15 years.  Arakyta provides all our technical support on our computers, servers and most recently phones.

When we have a technical problem, they go above and beyond what they are contracted for by providing in depth care, consultation and training services. When we once asked Dennis how many hours we get for training our staff on a new piece of upgraded software, Dennis simply replied until everyone’s questions are answered and everyone feels comfortable how to use it.

Arakyta’s staff was instrumental in helping us obtain and implement a new phone system this past winter when our old system completely died after a lightning strike destroyed our phone server.  They helped managed the project and kept everything on task at a tremendous cost to themselves, and did not bill us for many hours and pricey equipment that it took to redesign our phone system. This is a reflection of the true partnership and service we have with Arakyta. Dennis and his team recognize that every dollar we spend is important, and he and his amazing team do their part in helping to better our community by giving so much back to the Jewish community.  Not only have they given of their time and skills, but they also contribute to the Federations Annual Campaign and was a key sponsor at the most recent JFS Art Show, where they also contributed personally by purchasing art work.

Over the years our organizations have grown together, and we truly value our partnership. We think of you and your company not just as professional colleagues but also close friends. Thank you for being there for us time and time again.

Therefore; it is with great pleasure that I present the Bob Wick Award to Dennis Schroder and the Arakyta Staff.
